I understand that therapy is a commitment — both emotionally and financially. A limited number of sliding-scale sessions are available for those who may need financial flexibility. Please feel free to ask about current availability.

*Note: Fees are aligned with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC) recommended rates and may be adjusted periodically with notice. Counselling services are GST-exempt under current CRA guidelines

  • Counselling sessions may be partially or fully covered by some health or extended insurance plans. Coverage varies depending on your provider and plan, so it’s best to confirm directly with them. I currently offer direct billing only through ICBC. For all other coverage, I’ll provide a detailed receipt that you can use to request reimbursement.

  • Your session time is set aside especially for you. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide at least 48 hours’ notice to avoid being charged a late cancellation fee.

Cancellations made within 48 hours of your appointment, or missed sessions without notice, will be charged the full session fee, as that time has been reserved for you and can’t be offered to another client on short notice. Please note that most insurance providers do not cover fees for missed sessions or no-shows.

Exceptions may be made in cases of emergency or unforeseen illness, at the counsellor's discretion.

Thank you for understanding and for valuing the time set aside for your care.

  • Payment can be made securely online via credit card or e-transfer (depending on your location).

  • Most individual sessions are 50 minutes, and couples sessions are 90 minutes long. Extended sessions can be arranged when needed. At this time, my practice is completely virtual. Sessions are held through secure video calls on Jane App, a PIPEDA-compliant platform or by phone.

Meeting virtually means you can access therapy from wherever you are, in the comfort of your own home, without the stress of travel or scheduling. Many people find it helps them feel more relaxed and consistent in their process.

  • Yes — as long as I’m able to practise in your region, we can absolutely work together online. Counselling regulations differ across provinces, so I’m currently able to offer virtual sessions only to residents of:

    British Columbia (BC)
    Alberta (AB)
    Saskatchewan (SK)
    Manitoba (MB)
    Newfoundland & Labrador (NL)
    Yukon (YT)
    Nunavut (NT)
    Northwest Territories (NU)

If you’re unsure whether your location is included or if your insurance covers sessions with a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC), it may help to check with your provider or feel free to reach out and I’ll be happy to guide you.

  • Yes, your privacy is deeply respected. Everything shared in therapy remains confidential, with a few legal exceptions:

    • If someone is at risk of serious harm (to themselves or others)

    • If a child or vulnerable person is at risk of abuse

    • If required by a court order or in a medical emergency

All client records are stored electronically in a secure, password-protected system, in line with BCACC regulations. Your information is never shared without your explicit written consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

  • I offer therapy in English and Hindi, and I also understand Punjabi. You’re welcome to speak in whichever language feels most natural and comfortable for you or even move between them during our conversations. The goal is for you to express yourself freely, without worrying about finding the “right” words.

  • If you or someone you know is in immediate danger or requires urgent medical or safety support, please call 911 right away.

If you or a loved one is  having thoughts of suicide, feeling unsafe, or are experiencing a mental health crisis, please reach out for help immediately.
